The Gospel
Maybe you've been feeling this unexplainable, internal tug that won't allow you to settle where you are. You can't fully articulate it, but you have an awareness that nothing you've been doing up until this point fully satisfies, and deep within your heart you know there has to be more.
Can I tell you, that's the Father drawing you to Himself.
God desires to be in relationship with you more than you may actually think.
His pursuit of you hasn't stopped, and it won't.
By definition, the word Gospel means Good News, and it is the proclamation of the redemption of humanity through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that grants us forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation to God.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
John 3:16
Sin separates us from God.
By default, sin is part of our nature. When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, sin became humanity's ongoing problem.
Sin is anything in us or done by us that falls short of God's perfect design and will. It is choosing our way over God's way, whether through our actions, attitudes, thoughts, or desires.
God, on the other hand, is perfectly holy and righteous. His nature is completely opposed to sin, and sin separates us from Him.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The gift of salvation
I want to take a moment to be honest with you
Sin not only separates us from God, it leads to eternal death.
Please know that I am not saying this to scare you or to be harsh. I say this because it is the truth, and so many people are living what they think is their best life without realizing that it comes at a cost. A cost that neither you nor I could ever pay on our own
Yet this is where the beauty and goodness of the Gospel comes in.
God demonstrates His mercy and love for us by sending His son, Jesus Christ, to do what we could never do for ourselves.
Jesus lived a sinless life and willingly suffered and died on the cross, taking upon Himself the penalty that our sins deserved. Through His sacrifice, the debt of sin was paid in full once and for all, opening the way for us to be able to have a personal relationship with God.
This is the gift of salvation.
Not something we earn, but something we receive by grace through faith. When we repent and place our trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, our sins are forgiven, we are reconciled to God, and we enter into a restored relationship with Him.
We are no longer condemned by the debt of our sin; we are forgiven, redeemed, and welcomed into the family of God.
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
Prayer of Salvation
Receiving the gift of salvation is as simple as believing in your heart, and making a proclamation with your mouth.
Will you accept His invitation today?
If you said yes to the invitation to salvation, then repeat this prayer:
Dear heavenly Father,
I confess that I am a sinner in need of a savior.
I repent, and ask for forgiveness for my sins that I have committed knowingly and unknowingly.
I declare with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God, you raised Him from the dead.
I yield to you on today, Lord, that you may come into my life and have your way.
I pray that you would give me the strength and the desire to do what honors and pleases you.
I believe that you have heard my prayer, and that you have received me into the kingdom of God.
Have your way in me, In Jesus name that I pray, amen.
And just like that, you're saved! All of heaven is rejoicing over you, as am I. This is the biggest and best decision you could make, and will prove to be life changing.
